WHAT'S HAPPENING.........

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (20/6/12)

Our club's next meeting will be our AGM to be held at Penrith RSL on Wednesday, 20th June at 8pm. As our President, Paul Burrell stated at our presentation, it is vital that new faces join the committee to keep our club moving forward.

The current committee are a relaxed group of people who are simply interested in supporting the needs of young boys & girls in playing the great game of cricket. They will welcome and support new people to any position. Please consider giving a small amount of your time to your child's cricket club.


56th ANNUAL PRESENTATION

Our club's 56th Annual Presentation was held on the 11th May in the Hornseywood Room of Penrith RSL. Once again we thank the RSL and staff for providing us with such a fabulous venue. We also thank the Chairman of Directors, Neville Barnier, and fellow directors, Carol Prain and Jenni May for their attendance on the night.

Thanks also to Pam Perriman and Bob Grace who presented the Darren Perriman and the Grace Trophy. We also extend our appreciation to life members, Greg Gavin and Kay Vincent who joined us as well. Along with sponsors, Belinda Hill and Simon Mullen.

It was terrific to see each team so well represented and so many parents who helped to celebrate another season of junior cricket at Penrith RSL.

A highlight of the evening was the official presentation of Life Membership to President, Paul Burrell.


SPECIAL BATTING AWARD TO RYAN GREGORY

An oversight on the evening was a special batting award which should have been presented to Ryan Gregory. Ryan scored 50 n.o. during the season for 12 Gold. Congratulations Ryan and our apologies for this error.


2012/13 REGISTRATIONS

Planned registrations for the upcoming season are as follows:

Sunday 22nd July - Howell Oval
Saturday 28th July - Tindale St Foyer of Penrith RSL - 12noon - 4pm
Saturday 4th August - Tindale St Foyer of Penrith RSL - 12noon - 4pm

As a condition of membership a parent from each family is required to be a member of Penrith RSL. Please remember to bring your membership card along to registrations and ensure it has been renewed. We cannot register any players without sighting a current membership card. Joing the RSL is a quick process which can be done on the day.


LEVEL ONE COACHING COURSE

A level one coaching course being conducted by CricketNSW is being held at Howell Oval on Sunday, 27th May. If any persons from our club are interested in undertaking this course please contact a committee member and we will arrange for you to be signed up. Our club will cover any costs involved.
