WEEKEND 28th JANUARY
The lousy weather continues and not a lot of cricket was played last weekend. Two sides got on to play:- the 11's and 16's.
UNDER 11'S
The 11's got up in a thriller. St Clair batted first and posted 96 runs from their 40 overs. RSL needed two runs off the final ball of the match. They ran one, for what appeared was going to be a tied match, however an overthrow saw them sneak through to win by one run.
Tayla Aldous topped the batting with 13 runs and Mason Allen, Jarrod Burns and Jacob Yallop all scored 10 runs each.
UNDER 16'S
The 16's unfortunately lost the toss and were sent in on a heavy Jamo 6 with only nine batsmen. They only managed to post 52 runs. Glenbrook finished the day 2/32.
